Fundraising Ideas
If you would like to help out with the new building try a few of these funky ideas below and who knows how much money you could raise.
- Persuade your school to make HOGC their charity of the year.
- Get people you know to buy a brick or 2 to place in the new gym.
- Do a sponsored event of some sort - walking on your hands, the most amount of cartwheels in an hour etc etc!
- Wash Cars - at £3 per car, 2 cars per week for a month that's already £25.
- Hold a cake and cookie stall, an easy way to gather up some coins.
- Organise a good old-fashioned jumble sale (these can raise several hundreds of pounds - then you'd definitely get to wear the yellow jersuy!)
- Do a toy swap stall, where you bring unwanted toys to a hall and everytime you swap with someone else who has a toy you want, you donate some money to HOGC.
- Offer to weed people's garden or mow lawns - later in the year!
- Hold a second hand book/dvd/video/playstation computer game stall.
- Do a door to door collection (with Mum or Dad) in your village.
- If you have a group of friends in your school who come to HOGC, why not put a special display of your own and charge pupils to watch.
- Organize your own gymnastics competition at your schooland chargepupils to enterand parents and pupils to watch.
- Hold a talent contest - charge for entry and to watch! people can sing, dance, tell jokes, do magic, - or gymnastics of course.
- Hold a car boot or garage sale.
15.Sell fruit, flowers or vegetables from your garden.
